Creative Suite 3 will be the first release from Adobe that is optimised to run natively on Intel-based Macs and be the first full release since the company merged with Macromedia in 2005.
Adobe is expected to release several bundle options for CS3 to appeal to different design markets including web, print and video professionals. Many are also eager to see how former Macromedia products will be represented in the various bundles.
As a secondary effect to the release, it is anticipated that Apple will see a spike in sales as it's believed that many graphic professionals have been holding off on that new Intel Mac purchase until Adobe could put out this native release.
